V1.1.1 Tato norma se zabývá uzemňováním a pospojováním datových a telekomunikačních (ICT) zařízení v datových a telekomunikačních centrech při realizaci stejnosměrného rozhraní do 400 V DC definovaného v EN 300 132 3-1 [1] ve vztahu k bezpečnosti, funkčním vlastnostem a EMC. Tuto normu lze rovněž použít pro zařízení ICT i v dalších místech, jako jsou: pouliční rozvaděče, kontejnery, budovy účastníků, BTS atd. Obecné zásady pro elektrické instalace z hlediska bezpečnosti jsou založeny na souboru norem HD 60364 (souboru norem IEC 60364) a případně na informacích zveřejněných ITU-T k zajištění správné funkce uvedených instalací
