V1.3.2 Tato norma platí pro MES S-PCN pohyblivých systémů geostacionárních družic s EIRP nižším nebo rovným 15 dBW. Tato norma stanovuje minimální funkční požadavky a technické vlastnosti pohyblivých pozemských stanic (MES), schopných vysílat i přijímat, určených pro provoz v družicové síti osobních komunikací (S-PCN) v kmitočtovém pásmu pohyblivé družicové služby (MSS). Pokud je MES prvkem koncového zařízení s více režimy, platí požadavky této normy pouze pro prvek koncového zařízení MES S-PCN, pracující v kmitočtovém pásmu MSS, nestanoví-li tato norma jinak.
