V1.1.1 Tato norma platí pro koncová zařízení pro IMT-FT. IM-FT je systém digitálních bezšňůrových telekomunikací (DECT), který je součástí skupiny IMT-2000 ITU. Koncová zařízení DECT jsou tvořena pevnou částí (FP), přenosnou částí (PP), bezšňůrovým koncovým adaptérem (CTA) a radioreléovou stanicí (WRS) (kombinovaná FP a PP). Je určena k pokrytí ustanovení článku 3.2 Směrnice 1999/5/EC (Směrnice R&TTE). Kmitočtová pásma služby IMT-FT (DECT) pro vysílání a příjem u všech prvků jsou částmi spektra evropského UMTS použitelnými pro provoz TDD, 1 900 MHz až 1 980 MHz a 2 010 MHz až 2 025 MHz (viz ERC/DEC(99)25 [16] a ERC/DEC(00)01).
