V1.1.1 Tato norma platí pro pohyblivé stanice CDMA s více nosnými (cdma2000) pro IMT-2000, které jsou schopny provozu ve všech nebo v jakékoliv části stanovených kmitočtových pásem. Je určena k pokrytí ustanovení článku 3.2 Směrnice 1999/5/EC (Směrnice R&TTE). Navíc k této normě budou pro zařízení v rozsahu platnosti této normy platit i jiné EN, které specifikují technické požadavky v souvislosti se základními požadavky podle jiných částí článku 3 Směrnice R&TT
