V1.1.1 Tato norma platí pro základnové stanice a uživatelská zařízení buňkových sítí IMT-2000 třetí generace, provozované ve všech částech stanovených kmitočtových pásem. Pokrývá základní požadavky článku 3.2 Směrnice R&TTE na IMT-2000, CDMA TDD (UTRA TDD 3,84 Mčip/s) (BS). Navíc k této normě se použijí pro zařízení v rozsahu platnosti této normy i jiné EN, které specifikují technické požadavky v souvislosti se základními požadavky podle jiných částí článku 3 Směrnice R&TTE.
