V1.1.1 Tato norma platí pro dotazovače RFID používané spolu s jejich odpovídači (identifikačními prostředky) RFID. Dotazovače pracují v dílčích pásmech 200 kHz s použitím modulované nosné. Identifikační prostředky odpovídají modulovaným signálem. Dotazovače lze používat buď s vestavěnými nebo s vnějšími anténami.
