V1.1.1 Tento dokument specifikuje profily interoperability zpráv služby doporučené elektronické pošty (REM) podle formátů definovaných v ETSI EN 319 532-3 [6 ] a konceptů a sémantiky definovaných v ETSI EN 319 532-1 [4] a ETSI EN 319 532-2 [5]. Zabývá se otázkami týkajícími se autentizace, pravosti a integrity informací s cílem řešit dosažení interoperability napříč poskytovateli služby REM pomocí výše uvedených specifikací. Tento dokument zahrnuje všechny možnosti profilu služeb REM pro oba způsoby provozu: S&N a S&F. Povinné požadavky definované ve výše uvedených odkazovaných specifikacích služeb REM se zde obvykle neopakují, avšak v případě potřeby na ně tento dokument obsahuje některé odkazy.
