Norma byla převzata (zavedena) oznámením o schválení (Endorsement notice), které zní: "IEC 822 (1988), IEC 822 VSB Paralelní podsystémová sběrnice pro IEC 821 VMEbus byla schválena Úřadem pro technickou normalizaci, metrologii a státní zkušebnictví k přímému používání jako česká norma ČSN IEC 822 bez jakýchkoli modifikací. Uvedená norma je dostupná v Českém normalizačním institutu, úsek informatiky, Praha 1, Biskupský Dvůr 5." V národní předmluvě jsou pouze uvedeny citované normy a obdobné mezinárodní a zahraniční normy. V národní příloze NA je slovníček anglických a použitých českých termínů. Komerčně dostupný český výtisk této normy tedy neobsahuje žádná normativní ustanovení, tj. vlastní text normy. ČSN IEC 822 (36 9361) byla vydána v červnu 1996
