Tato norma určuje metodu stanovení málo těkavých lipofilních látek ve vodách s použitím gravimetrie. Tato metoda je použitelná pro všechny druhy vod a umožňuje stanovení málo těkavých lipofilních látek, které jsou suspendovány, emulgovány nebo rozpuštěny, v koncentracích přibližně 10 mg/l až 500 mg/l. Při vyšších koncentracích se zkoušený podíl vzorku vhodně zředí. Tato metoda není použitelná pro vodu s oddělenou vrstvou oleje
