Tato část ISO 13041 stanovuje odkazem na ISO 230-3 zkoušky, které se používají pro vyhodnocení tepelných deformací pevných částí stroje a systému nastavení polohy do délky 2000 mm u číslicově řízených (NC) soustružnických strojů a soustružnických center. Tato část ISO 13041 definuje tyto tři metody zkoušek: - zkouška pro určení chyby vzniklé v důsledku kolísání teploty prostředí, - zkouška tepelných deformací způsobených otáčením vřetena a - zkouška tepelných deformací způsobených pohybem v lineárních osách. Je nutno poznamenat, že není předpokládáno předepsat jakékoliv tolerance pro zkoušky popsané v této části ISO 13041
