Norma je identická s ISO 2268:1972. Předepisuje metodu stanovení polyethylenglykolů a neionogenních aktivních látek (aduktů) v mastných alkoholech a alkylfenolpolyoxyethylových derivátech. Komerční produkty obvykle obsahují polyethylenglykoly jako vedlejší produkt. Weibullova metoda dovoluje stanovení jak neionogenních látek tak polyethylenglykolů. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN ISO 2268 (68 1164) byla vydána v únoru 1996. Nahradila ČSN 66 6140 z 24.10.1981
