Tento dokument specifikuje postup pro stanovení kinematické viskozity ( ) při 40 °C v rozmezí 2 mm2/s až 6 mm2/s výpočtem z dynamické viskozity ( ) a husoty ( ); je určený pro střední destiláty paliv, methylestery mastných kyselin (FAME) a jejich směsi s použitím Stabingerova viskozimetru. Výsledky získané tímto postupem závisí na reologickém chování vzorku. Dokument je přednostně určen pro kapaliny, jejichž smykové napětí a gradient rychlosti jsou úměrné (newtonské kapaliny).
