Tato mezinárodní norma specifikuje rozměry strojních výstružníků s válcovými stopkami a kuželovými stopkami Morse. Zabývá se následujícími typy výstružníků: - strojní výstružníky s válcovými stopkami v rozsahu průměru od 1,32 mm až 20 mm; - strojní výstružníky s kuželovými stopkami Morse v rozsahu průměrů od 5,30 mm až 50 mm. Pro každý typ výstružníku jsou uvedeny v této mezinárodní normě dvě tabulky, jedna představuje preferované velikosti s odpovídajícími rozměry, a druhá všeobecná tabulka stanovuje funkce kroků průměru. Ustanovuje také výrobní tolerance délek, řezných průměrů a průměrů válcových stopek
