Tento dokument specifikuje metodu stanovení chloru v černém uhlí, hnědých uhlích, lignitech a koksu s použitím směsi Eschka. Známá navážka vzorku se žíhá v přímém kontaktu se směsí Eschka v oxidační atmosféře k odstranění spalitelných látek a k převedení chloru na alkalické chloridy. Tyto se extrahují kyselinou dusičnou nebo vodou a stanoví se metodou Volharda nebo Mohra nebo potenciometrickou titrací iontově selektivní elektrodou (ISE)
