Tato norma je českou verzí mezinárodní normy ISO 6091:2010, kterou ČSN převzala v roce 2011 překladem jako ČSN ISO 6091 (57 0803). Norma ISO 6091:2010/IDF 86:2010 specifikuje referenční metodu na stanovení titrační kyselosti všech druhů sušeného mléka. Titrační kyselost sušeného mléka odpovídá objemu 0,1 mol/l hydroxidu sodného potřebného na takové množství obnoveného mléka, které odpovídá 10 g tukuprosté sušiny při pH 8,40. Titrační kyselost se vyjadřuje v mililitrech
