Tato část ČSN ISO 6489 stanovuje požadavky na rozměry spojovacích zařízení typu piton používaných pro připojení tažených nevyvážených přívěsných vozů a nářadí, vybavených spojovacím okem specifikovaným v ISO 5692-1 k zemědělským tažným vozidlům. Jejím účelem je zajistit vzájemnou zaměnitelnost mechanických spojení na zemědělských tažných vozidlech. Platí pouze v těch případech, kdy svislé statické zatížení nepřesáhne 30 kN.
