Tato norma je českou verzí mezinárodní normy ISO 6754:1996. Mezinárodní norma ISO 6754:1996 má status české technické normy. Specifikuje požadavky na sušený tymián (Thymus vulgaris L.) [český název je "tymián obecný"] uváděný do oběhu jako drhnuté listy. Mezi normalizovanými požadavky je i napadení hmyzem, plísněmi apod., stanovení příměsí apod.
