Tato část ČSN ISO 8573 stanovuje plynovou chromatografickou zkušební metodu pro určování obsahu olejové páry (uhlovodíky tvořené šesti nebo více atomy uhlíku) ve stlačeném vzduchu, bez ohledu na zdroj stlačeného vzduchu, jakož i jakýchkoliv organických rozpouštědel v páře, které je obtížné oddělit od dalších uhlovodíků.
