Die in diesem Dokument enthaltenen Anforderungen tragen bei Umsetzung dazu bei, dass die Stellen, die die Auditierung und Zertifizierung eines Managementsystems für künstliche Intelligenz (KIMS) nach ISO/IEC 42001 für Organisationen durchführen, die KI-Systeme bereitstellen, entwickeln oder nutzen, ihre Kompetenz, Konsistenz und Zuverlässigkeit nachweisen können. Die Zertifizierung des KIMS ist eine Konformitätsbewertungstätigkeit durch einen Dritten (wie in ISO/IEC 17000:2020, 4.5, beschrieben), und Stellen, die diese Tätigkeit durchführen, sind daher Konformitätsbewertungsstellen. Dieses Dokument bietet Kunden außerdem die erforderlichen Informationen und verschafft ihnen das nötige Vertrauen in die Art und Weise, wie die Zertifizierung erteilt wurde. ANMERKUNG Dieses Dokument kann als Vorgabe für die Akkreditierung oder für die Begutachtung unter Gleichrangigen (Peer Assessment) verwendet werden.
