Dieses Dokument beschreibt das Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Beitrags der Alkalien im Zement zum Alkali-Kieselsäure-Reaktionsprozess, der in Beton oder Mörtel mit potenziell alkaliempfindlichen Gesteinskörnungen auftreten kann. Das Prinzip besteht darin, die Alkalien aus dem unlöslichen Teil des Zements (in der Regel beispielsweise mit Flugasche oder Puzzolanen verbunden) und die Alkalien aus dem löslichen Teil des Zements (in der Regel mit Klinker, Gips, granulierter Hochofenschlacke oder Kalkstein verbunden) zu berücksichtigen [1]. Dieses Prüfverfahren kann im Rahmen der Verhinderung des Risikos einer Alkali-Kieselsäure-Reaktion angewendet werden [2].
