Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften von Knebelkerbstiften mit langen ovalen Kerben (mit geschlossenen Enden) aus Stahl und nichtrostendem Stahl und mit einem Nenndurchmesser 1 mm bis 25 mm fest. Diese Kerbstifte sind so ausgelegt, dass sie die folgenden Hauptfunktionen ausfu¨hren: ż relative Drehung der zusammengebauten Teile; und ż Positionierung oder Fu¨hrung; mit einem einfachen Einbau (durch deren symmetrische Form) und mit hoher Auszugsfestigkeit (durch das elastische Passverhalten des Stifts). Die allgemeinen Anforderungen (einschließlich Grundlagen hinsichtlich der Funktion fu¨r Kerbstifte und Zusammenbau) sind in ISO 13669 festgelegt.
