IEC 60839-5-2:2016 specifies the general equipment requirements for the performance, reliability, resilience, security and safety characteristics of supervised premises transceiver (SPT) installed in supervised premises and used in alarm transmission systems (ATS). A supervised premises transceiver can be a stand-alone device or an integrated part of an alarm system. These requirements also apply to the SPT sharing means of interconnection, control, communication and power supplies with other applications. The alarm transmission system requirements and classifications are defined within IEC 60839-5-1. This new edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: - reflects the current technological state of art (IP networks); - harmonizes with the ATS categories introduced in IEC 60839-5-1:2014; - introduces test requirements. LIEC 60839-5-2:2016 specifie les exigences materielles generales relatives au fonctionnement, a la fiabilite, a la resilience, a la securite et a la surete des transmetteurs de locaux surveilles (SPT) installes dans des locaux surveilles et utilises dans les systemes de transmission dalarme (ATS). Un transmetteur de locaux surveilles peut etre un dispositif autonome ou faire partie integrante dun systeme dalarme. Ces exigences sappliquent egalement aux moyens de partage dinterconnexion, de commande, de communication et dalimentation electrique du SPT avec dautres applications. Les exigences et les classifications des systemes de transmission dalarme sont definies dans lIEC 60839-5-1. Cette nouvelle edition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport a ledition precedente: - represente letat actuel de la technique (reseaux IP); - harmonise avec les categories dATS specifiees dans lIEC 60839-5-1:2014; - presente des exigences relatives aux essais.
