Dieser Teil 510 der IEC 60811 legt das Prüfverfahren für die Wickelprüfung nach thermischer Alterung in Luft fest. Dieses Prüfverfahren gilt speziell für Polyolefin-Isolierhüllen in Fernmeldekabeln. Diese Prüfung ist für Polyolefin-Isolierhüllen von ungefüllten Kabeln und für trockene Adern von gefüllten Kabeln vorgesehen, bei denen die Isolierhülle eine Wanddicke <= 0,8 mm hat.
