Dieser Teil der IEC 60317 legt Anforderungen an lackisolierte Flachdrähte aus Aluminium, Klasse 105, mit einer Grundbeschichtung aus Polyvinylacetal- oder Polyvinylformalharz fest, welches modifiziert sein kann, sofern es die chemische Identität des ursprünglichen Harzes beibehält und allen festgelegten Anforderungen an den Draht entspricht. Der Bereich der Leiternennmaße nach dieser Norm beträgt:- Breite von Mindestwert 2,0 mm bis Höchstwert 16,0 mm; - Dicke von Mindestwert 0,80 mm bis Höchstwert 5,60 mm. In diesem Teil von IEC 60317 werden die Drähte Grad 1 und Grad 2 behandelt; diese gelten für das gesamte Leiterspektrum. Die genormten Kombinationen aus Breite und Dicke sowie das festgelegte Breite/Dicke-Verhältnis sind in IEC 60317-0-9 angegeben.
