Dieser Teil von IEC 60317 legt Anforderungen an lackisolierte Flachdrähte aus Aluminium, Klasse 200, mit einer Zweifachbeschichtung fest. Die Grundbeschichtung basiert auf Polyester- oder Polyesterimid-Harz, das modifiziert sein kann, sofern es die chemische Identität des ursprünglichen Harzes beibehält und allen festgelegten Anforderungen an den Draht entspricht. Die Deckbeschichtung basiert auf Polyamidimid-Harz. Der Bereich der Leiternennmaße nach dieser Norm beträgt: - Breite: mindestens 2,0 mm höchstens 16,0 mm; - Dicke: mindestens 0,80 mm höchstens 5,60 mm. In dieser Spezifikation werden die Drähte Grad 1 und Grad 2 behandelt; diese gelten für das gesamte Leiterspektrum. Die festgelegten Kombinationen aus Breite und Dicke sowie das festgelegte Breite/Dicke-Verhältnis sind in IEC 60317-0-9:2015 angegeben.
