Dieser Teil von IEC 60512 legt die Prüfverfahren für die Signalintegrität und das Übertragungsverhalten von Steckverbindern nach den betreffenden Teilen der Normenreihen IEC 60603-7, IEC 61076-1, IEC 61076-2, IEC 61076-3 und IEC 63171 für Verbindungstechnik von 0,1 MHz bis 2 000 MHz mit Verweisung auf dieses Dokument fest. Die aufgeführte Liste von Normenreihen für Steckverbinder schließt die Bezugnahme anderer Herstellerspezifikationen oder veröffentlichter Normen für Steckverbinder auf dieses Dokument nicht aus. Die angegebenen Prüfverfahren sind: - Einfügungsdämpfung, Prüfung 28a; - Rückflussdämpfung, Prüfung 28b; - Nahnebensprechdämpfung (NEXT), Prüfung 28c; - Fernnebensprechdämpfung (FEXT), Prüfung 28d; - Unsymmetriedämpfung am nahen Ende (TCL), Prüfung 28f; - Unsymmetriedämpfung am fernen Ende (TCTL), Prüfung 28g. Weitere Prüfverfahren, die hier in Bezug genommen werden, sind: - Prüfung der Transferimpedanz (ZT), siehe IEC 60512-26-100, Prüfung 26e. - Prüfung der Kopplungsdämpfung (aC), siehe IEC 62153-4-7 und IEC 62153-4-12. - Prüfung der Niedrigfrequenz-Kopplungsdämpfung (aCLF), siehe IEC 62153-4-7 und IEC 62153-4-15.
