Diese ÖNORM beschreibt Mikroplanfilme der ersten Generation im Format A6 mit den Verkleinerungsfaktoren VA = 1/24, VA = 1/42 und VA = 1/48, welche gemäß ÖNORM A 1305 erstellt wurden. Abweichend von ISO 9923 erfasst diese ÖNORM auch den Verkleinerungsfaktor VA = 1/42, der in Österreich zum überwiegenden Teil zur Anwendung kommt. Sie gilt nicht für COM-Ausgaben auf 16-mm- oder 35-mm-Rollfilm oder für die COM-Ausgabe von graphischen Darstellungen (Zeichnungen). Die Mikroplanfilme dürfen wahlweise negative oder positive Polarität aufweisen.
