Diese ÖNORM enthält Verfahrens- und Vertragsbestimmungen für die Ausführung von Abbrucharbeiten von Bauwerken oder von Teilen eines Bauwerkes. Bezüglich der Erkundung von Stör- und Schadstoffen sind - nach Maßgabe der RBV - ergänzend die ÖNORM B 3151 und die ÖNORM EN ISO 16000-32 anzuwenden. Nicht Gegenstand dieser ÖNORM sind Abbrucharbeiten von Bauwerken nach unkontrollierten Krafteinwirkungen (z. B. Explosion, Brand, Erdbeben, Beschuss), Abbruch durch Sprengen mit Explosivstoffen, Abbruch einsturzgefährdeter Objekte sowie die Räumung des Abbruchobjektes (Entrümpelung) von Mobiliar, sonstigen beweglichen Einrichtungen, Apparaten, Sperrmüll sowie die Entfernung von sonstigen beweglichen Sachen (z. B. Lagerinhalte, Taubenkot, Produktionsrückstände).
