Dieses Dokument legt ergänzend zu ÖNORM EN 806 (alle Teile) Anforderungen an Verbrauchsanlagen für Trinkwasser und Warmwasser (erwärmtes Trinkwasser) fest und ist gemeinsam mit diesen anzuwenden. Weiters kann das vorliegende Dokument auch für Leitungen im Anwendungsbereich der ÖNORM EN 805 herangezogen werden, die als Verbrauchsleitung zu behandeln sind und außerhalb von Gebäuden, jedoch innerhalb von Grundstücken liegen. Die Anforderungen an Probenahmestellen, Temperaturmessstellen sowie den hygienischen Betrieb und die hygienische Überwachung im Hinblick auf die Erzielung und Erhaltung der Wasserqualität von Warmwasserversorgungsanlagen sind in der ÖNORM B 1921 beschrieben. Solarduschen für Schwimmbecken, Gärten, Terrassen und ähnliche Anwendungen sind nicht Gegenstand dieses Dokuments.
