Diese ÖNORM umfasst im Rahmen der technischen Überwachung die Eigenüberwachung und die technische Überprüfung gemäß § 134 WRG einer Trinkwasserversorgungs-Anlage und ist vom Betreiber - unbeschadet sonstiger behördlicher Vorschreibungen und Aufsichten - auf alle Anlagenteile anzuwenden. Diese ÖNORM kann auch für Wasserversorgungs-Anlagen (Nutzwasser) angewendet werden, wobei darüber hinausgehende technische Anforderungen erforderlich sein können, die durch diese ÖNORM nicht abgedeckt werden.
