Diese ÖNORM regelt die Anforderungen an die Gesteinseigenschaften der in Österreich zum Einsatz kommenden Pflastermaterialien, und ist gemeinsam mit den ÖNORMEN EN 1341, ÖNORM EN 1342 und ÖNORM EN 1343 anzuwenden. Diese ÖNORM ist auf Pflastersteine und Pflasterplatten sowie Randeinfassungen aus natürlichen Gesteinen anzuwenden. Darüber hinaus werden häufig verwendete Standardformate festgelegt. Diese ÖNORM ist nicht auf bereits eingebaute und/oder für die Wiederverwendung aufbereitete (gebrauchte) Materialien anzuwenden. Die Verwendung derartiger Materialien ist in entsprechenden Leistungsbeschreibungen zu regeln.
