Diese ÖNORM legt Anforderungen hinsichtlich folgender zusätzlicher Zementeigenschaften fest: Garantierter C3A-Gehalt; späterer Erstarrungsbeginn; begrenzte Schwankungsbreite der Mahlfeinheit; begrenzte Mahlfeinheit; begrenzte Wärmeentwicklung; begrenzte Wasserabsonderung; garantierte Biegezugfestigkeit; garantierte Druckfestigkeit nach 1. Tag; garantierte Zementtemperatur bei Auslieferung. Diese Anforderungen gelten zusätzlich zu den Anforderungen der ÖNORM EN 197-1. Weitere Hinweise für die Auswahl von Zement als Funktion der Betonsorte enthält die ÖNORM B 4710-1. Diese ÖNORM ist hinsichtlich Auswahl und Anwendung von Zement zusammen mit der ÖNORM B 4710-1 anzuwenden.
