Die vorliegende ÖNORM ist für Mauermörtel und Putzmörtel, die auf der Baustelle gemischt (Rezeptmörtel) und verarbeitet werden, anzuwenden. Sie enthält Angaben über die Bindemittel, die Zuschlagstoffe sowie das Anmachwasser und das Mischungsverhältnis. Für Eignungsprüfungsmörtel sowie für Dünnbett-Mörtel sind die ÖNORMEN EN 998-1 und EN 998-2 anzuwenden. Baustellengemischte Mörtel, bei denen Zusatzstoffe oder Zusatzmittel verwendet werden, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser ÖNORM.
