Die vorliegende ÖNORM gilt für alle geneigten oder gekrümmten Dächer bis zu einer Dachneigung von 60° und mit sämtlichen Dacheindeckungen und -abdichtungen. Die Schneeschutzsysteme werden gegen Abgleiten von Schnee und Eis (bemessen nach ÖNORMEN B 1991-1-3 und EN 1991-1-3) und zum Schutz der Dacheindeckung bzw. -abdichtung angebracht. Diese ÖNORM bezieht sich auf die Ausführungen unterschiedlicher Arten von Schneeschutzsystemen, die der Dachunterkonstruktion und der Dacheindeckung angepasst sein müssen und in den verschiedenen Kombinationen anwendbar sind.
