Diese ÖNORM ist gemeinsam mit ÖNORM EN 12591 anzuwenden. Obwohl die Anforderungen sowie der Spezifikationsrahmen für Industriebitumen in ÖNORM B 3611-2 und ÖNORM EN 13305 festgelegt sind, ist es zulässig, die nach dieser ÖNORM festgelegten Straßenbaubitumen auch als Industriebitumen zu verwenden.
