Diese ÖNORM regelt Verglasungen, die an mindestens zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten durchgehend linienförmig gelagert sind. Die Verglasung wird nach dem Neigungswinkel zur Vertikalen eingeteilt in: - Horizontalverglasung: Neigungswinkel > 15°, - Vertikalverglasung: Neigungswinkel <= 15°. Sie gilt nicht für Verglasungen, - die gegen Absturz sichern, - für Gewächshäuser nach ÖNORM EN 13031-1, - die planmäßig zur Aussteifung herangezogen werden, - in gebogener Ausführung Instandsetzungen (Reparaturen), bei denen die Anforderungen und Bedingungen der Abschnitte 4 und 5 nicht angewendet werden können, sind nicht Gegenstand der vorliegenden ÖNORM.
