Diese ÖNORM stellt ein Prüfverfahren zur Verfügung, wie nachgewiesen werden kann, dass über einen Zeitraum von 30 Minuten ein direkter Flammenüberschlag im Bereich des Brandschutzschildes, der als Teil des deckenübergreifenden Außenwandstreifens dient, nicht stattfindet. Es dürfen in einem derartigen Prüfverfahren ausschließlich Bauteile aus Baustoffen mindestens der Euroklasse A2 zur Anwendung kommen.
