Diese ÖNORM enthält Bestimmungen über die Ausführung, Prüfung und Kennzeichnung von Türdrückern, Türschildern und Rosetten für Feuer- und Rauchschutzabschlüsse entsprechend den ÖNORMEN B 3850, B 3851 und B 3852, in Verbindung mit Türschlössern entsprechend ÖNORM B 3858 bzw. DIN 18250. Türbeschläge im Sinne dieser ÖNORM erfüllen auch im Brandfall die Voraussetzungen für die Aufrechterhaltung des Schutzzieles von Feuerschutztüren. Diese Norm dient auch der Austauschbarkeit von Tür- und Torbeschläge für und somit für die nachhaltige Verwendung und Langlebigkeit von Feuerschutzabschlüsse.
