Dieses Dokument legt eine einheitliche Vorgehensweise für die Erkundung und Dokumentation von im Untergrund verborgenen Kampfmitteln fest. Es regelt auf Grundlage der in Österreich gültigen Rechtslage die Maßnahmen, die zur Schaffung sicherer Baufelder, Baumaßnahmen und Grundstücke im Hinblick auf Kampfmittel zu ergreifen sind. Dieses Dokument behandelt nicht das Vorgehen zur Beurteilung von Risiken im Boden von Liegenschaften gemäß ÖNORM S 2411. Die Bergung, der Transport und die Vernichtung von Kampfmitteln obliegen gemäß § 42 Abs. 5 WaffG 1996 den zuständigen Behörden und sind daher nicht Gegenstand dieses Dokumentes.
