Dieses Dokument beschreibt die Prüfverfahren, die zur Beurteilung der Frostsicherheit von Korngemischen gemäß ÖNORM B 4811 erforderlich sind. Diese Korngemische umfassen natürliche, industriell hergestellte und rezyklierte Gesteinskörnungen im eingebauten Zustand für ungebundene untere und obere Tragschichten im Straßen- und Flugplatzbau. Auf Gemische, die vollständig oder teilweise aus Recyclingbaustoffen bestehen, welche nicht natürlichen Ursprungs sind und/oder industriell verändert wurden (Beton, Asphalt, Ziegelsplitt), sind 6.2 und Abschnitt 7 dieses Dokuments nicht anwendbar.
