In dieser ÖNORM werden gebräuchliche Umschlagsarten des kombinierten Verkehrs behandelt. Der kombinierte Verkehr unter Einbeziehung von Luftfahrzeugen wurde nicht aufgenommen. Diesbezüglich wird auf die im Literaturverzeichnis angeführten Normen verwiesen.
