Diese ÖNORM legt die Bemessung, den Betrieb sowie die Prüfung von Reinigungsanlagen für Regenwasser von Verkehrs- und Abstellflächen (Verkehrsflächen-Sicherungsschächte VSS) fest. Die Anwendung von die-sen Reinigungsanlagen beschränkt sich auf die Reinigung von Regen- oder Schmelzwässern, die insbeson-dere von Verkehrs- und Abstellflächen, Manipulations- und Lagerflächen stammen und die im Regelfall nicht mit Leichtflüssigkeiten belastet sind, d. h. auf diesen Flächen gibt es im Regelfall keine Wartungs-, Reparatur-, Betankungs- oder Waschvorgänge.
