Diese ÖNORM ist nicht anwendbar für Fenster, Fenstertüren und Außentüren, die Schutz gegen Steinschlag, Muren oder Hochwasser bieten sollen. Bei besonders starken Katastrophenlawinen können auch Lawinenschutzfenster und -türen keinen hundertprozentigen Schutz bieten. Die Anforderungen dieser ÖNORM gelten für das Produkt zum Zeitpunkt der Lieferung durch den Hersteller.
