Diese ÖNORM ist gemeinsam mit der ÖNORM B 5330-1 anzuwenden und enthält ergänzende Anforderungen an Stahlzargen, die aus gewalzten oder gepressten Stahlblechprofilen hergestellt werden und dazu bestimmt sind, in Massivwände eingebaut zu werden. Sie gilt für gefälzte oder stumpfe (ungefälzte) einflügelige Türblätter mit einer Masse von maximal 90 kg. Für Stahlzargen, die in Gipskarton-Ständerwänden eingebaut werden, gilt die ÖNORM B 5330-10. Für den Einbau der Stahlzargen ist die ÖNORM B 5335 anzuwenden, wobei auch die Einbauanleitungen der Zargenhersteller zu beachten sind.
