Diese ÖNORM ist für alle Fänge anzuwenden, bei denen verschiedene Fangbauarten zur Anwendung gelan-gen (zB Verlängerung eines gemauerten Fanges durch einen ein- oder mehrschaligen Fang). Sie enthält Angaben über die Planung, die Sanierung und die Ausführung derartiger Fänge. Diese ÖNORM ist nicht anzuwenden, wenn in einem bestehenden Gebäude, zB im Zusammenhang mit einem Dachgeschoßausbau, ein für dieses Geschoß neuer Fang errichtet wird. Die vorliegende ÖNORM ist nicht im Sinne der ÖNORM B 8271, die die Querschnittsanpassung behandelt, anzuwenden. Die jeweiligen landesgesetzlichen Bestimmungen sind zu beachten.
