Diese ÖNORM beschreibt drei Verfahren zur Ermittlung des Einflusses von Ozon auf die Rißbildung von Elastomeren in gedehntem Zustand. Bei der statischen Prüfung nach dieser ÖNORM wird auf die Beurteilung aller sekundären Bewitterungseinflüsse verzichtet und nur mit jeweils konstanten Dehnungen sowie mit konstanter Ozonkonzentration, Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit gearbeitet. Die Prüfung ist durchzuführen, wenn im Gebrauch nur statische Beanspruchung zu erwarten ist. Die Verfahren sind nicht geeignet zum Ermitteln der Lichtbeständigkeit.
