Da von Seiten der IEC in Dokument IEC-120 neue internationale Anschlußmaße festgelegt wurden und dieses internationale Dokument auch von der CENELEC übernommen wurde, dürfen Klöppel und Pfannen gemäß ÖNORM E 4104 nunmehr für die Reservehaltung verwendet werden. Die Neuausgabe der ÖNORM E 4104 enthält keine Festlegungen mehr für Doppelklöppel.
