Steckdosen gemäß dieser ÖNORM werden auch als "Kinderschutzsteckdosen" bezeichnet. Eine in der ÖNORM festgelegte Lehre dientdazu, die ausreichende Schutzwirkung des Shutters zu beurteilen. Es ist eine Normkennzeichnung der Lehre vorgesehen.
