Die vorliegende ÖNORM enthält Bestimmungen für Kennzeichen, welche die Belange des Brandschutzes betreffen und nicht bereits in ÖNORM EN ISO 7010 enthalten sind, sowie Festlegungen hinsichtlich deren Verwendung und Anbringung. Diese Hinweiszeichen sind zu verwenden, wenn auf Maßnahmen oder auf Einrichtungen für den Brandschutz hingewiesen werden muss. Bei der Verwendung von Sicherheitskennfarben und -kennzeichen im Bergbau ist ÖNORM G 1027 zu beachten.
