Waschbecken, Badewannen, Duschen, Urinale, Sitzwaschbecken, WC-Becken, Spülbecken und Ausgussbecken fest. Dieses Dokument legt außerdem Kriterien für die Auswahl und Anordnung von Armaturen in Kombination mit sanitärer Ausstattung und Einrichtung sowie Anforderungen an die Abdichtung von Armaturen fest. Sie dient der Sicherstellung der ordnungsgemäßen Funktion der Sanitärarmatur mit dem jeweiligen Becken. Dieses Dokument gilt für alle Sanitärräume. Für barrierefreie Sanitärräume gelten zusätzlich ÖNORM B 1600, ÖNORM B 1601, ÖNORM B 1602, ÖNORM B 1603 und die ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 17210. Nicht Gegenstand dieses Dokuments sind Anforderungen an die Ausführung sowie an die Werkstoffe von sanitärer Ausstattung und Einrichtung.
